IRT’s voluntary Board of Directors has a contemporary governance process tailored to ensure IRT operates in line with the Vision and Values of the organisation. IRT is a Public Benevolent Institution, incorporated as a company (November 1969) limited by guarantee under the Corporations Act with an authority to fundraise for charitable purposes under the provisions of Section 16 of the Charitable Fundraising Act of 1991.
