Carer Support
Carer Support
Carer Support is available in all IRT Care Centres. This program offers support for at home carers by providing short term accommodation and care for the person you are caring for. Accommodation consists of a private or shared suite within a Care Centre, with care and activities organised by our professional staff .
An assessment is required by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) to be considered for Carer Support. Carer Support is subsidised by the Government for a maximum of 63 days in any one fi nancial year, however this can be extended by ACAT if necessary.
