Community Announcement - The company of men at IRT Dalmeny
7 October 2011
The blokes at IRT Dalmeny Care Centre are keen to recruit a second volunteer to assist with the Care Centre’s Men’s Club activities.
As a volunteer you would help out with Men’s Club activities that are organised in conjunction with Care Centre staff. Typical men’s club activities include sunny afternoons sharing a drink with mates, playing cards and swapping extremely tall tales.
The ideal volunteer is male, someone who enjoys spending time with seniors and is patient, tolerant and kind.
All prospective volunteers must have a criminal history background check. This is done by IRT at no cost to the applicant.
This role is both rewarding and fun.
