Community Announcement - The company of men at IRT Moruya
7 October 2011
The blokes at IRT Moruya Care Centre are keen to start a Men’s Club and only one hurdle hinders their grand plan; they have no male volunteers to assist with their club activities.
Typical Men’s Club activities include fishing, lunch at the local, outings to the races and sunny afternoons sharing a drink with mates.
As a volunteer you will help out at club outings and with activities organised in conjunction with Care Centre staff. The ideal volunteer is male, a person who enjoys spending time with seniors and is patient, tolerant and kind.
All prospective volunteers must have a criminal history background check. This is done by IRT at no cost to the applicant.
This role is both rewarding and fun.
If you are interested in getting involved phone Leanne O'Neill, the IRT Moruya Care Centre Lifestyle Services Manager on 0400 506 084.
