In 2008, extensions to Woonona Village were completed.  The modern and fresh Flametree Lodge development has grown Woonona Village to be one of the largest Retirement Living and Aged Care villages in the Illawarra.

Flametree Lodge, is the stylish new Residential Care Centre, surrounded by a grove of trees and walkways.  It includes 102-units comprising mainly Low Care living, with 34 Dementia specific units, and 4 Respite units (2 Dementia specific, 2 Non-Dementia specific).  The living spaces in all rooms are homely, and provide modern amenities such as LCD televisions, ensuites, ceiling fans and electric beds, whilst also providing privacy and supporting independence.

Blueberry Ash Apartments are Low Care studio units situated on the perimeter of the  Village.

Ribbonwood Lodge offers 74 High care places, with 24-hour support to those who need it.

Camellia Lodge, located at the entrance of the Village includes 8 Self Care units.
