IRT wins three 2011 Australian Business Awards
Leading lifestyle and care provider IRT has won three 2011 Australian Business Awards, in a competition which honours business excellence, product excellence, sustainability and commercial success.
IRT was named:
• Winner of the 2011 Australian Business Award for Enterprise, recognising IRT for achieving outstanding commercial success and sustainable growth.
• Winner of the 2011 Australian Business Award for Community Contribution, recognising IRT for its significant contribution to the community and the aged care industry.
• Winner of the 2011 Australian Business Award for Marketing Excellence, recognising IRT as an industry leader for innovative marketing strategy and execution.
IRT Chief Executive Nieves Murray was delighted at the company’s success for the third consecutive year, paying tribute to the 2000 staff and 6000 customers who make up the IRT family across NSW and the ACT.
“These awards recognise the commitment of our people to seniors and to teamwork that consistently delivers superior service,” Ms Murray said.
“IRT aims to be an industry leader in enabling seniors to achieve their optimum quality of life and these awards are important external recognition that we are achieving our aims.”

Business award entries are separated by industry classification per award category and evaluated in accordance with the award criteria across seven main areas, including leadership and strategy, impact on industry, adaptability and sustainability, human resource management, customer relationship management, process management and evidence of success.
