IRT offers individuals wishing to volunteer rewarding opportunities to become part of vibrant communities and make a difference in the lives of older Australians. IRT's foundations have grown on the support, commitment and dedication of volunteers from our local communities.  Whilst we have a 1600 strong team of caring and professional staff, our volunteers play a valuable role in supporting our residents.

The contribution and services our volunteers provide varies considerably. Activities that volunteers participate in at IRT include: arts and craft activities, barbeques, transport, games and sport, dancing, spiritual and cultural activities, assisting with morning and afternoon tea and much more.
