Overview
IRT is a registered not-for-profit, community based organisation providing affordable accommodation and care services to our residents and clients. Your involvement is invaluable and can assist by making a significant positive impact on the lives of IRT’s current and future residents and clients.
Donations & Bequests
Donations and bequests have played a huge role throughout our history. In fact, the land on which our first seniors lifestyle & care community Diment Towers is located was donated by Wollongong City Council. With the assistance of these contributions, IRT is able to continue to respond to the growing demand for quality lifestyle & care solutions.
IRT was founded in 1969 on the belief that seniors deserve to have their dignity and wellbeing ensured in safe, supportive environments. Today our our mission to create communities where seniors achieve their optimum quality of life is behind everything we do. IRT has achieved its continued commitment to the community by engaging the hearts and minds of staff, residents, clients and our volunteers.
Contributing a donation or bequest allows you the opportunity to support the important work of IRT and our mission, with donations of $2 and over being tax deductible.
Donations and bequests may take the form of:
- A specified sum of money
- Real estate
- A share or the residue of your estate
- Stocks and shares
- Personal effects such as art and other collections
- Property
Volunteers
The support, commitment and dedication of volunteers from our local communities is fundamental to IRT and it’s mission to create communities where older people achieve their optimum quality of life.
