Privacy Statement
IRT values the strong relationships that we have with our investors and residents. All personal information that we collect is handled sensitively and securely, with proper regard for privacy and in accordance with the requirements of Australian laws.
From IRT's perspective, visitors to this site remain anonymous. IRT does not collect any information about visitors to this site, including the identities of visitors, unless the visitor chooses to contact us. Users should be aware that any information that the user chooses to disclose to us via this site may be collected and used by others.

We honour without reservation our obligation to respect and protect the privacy of the personal information of individuals with whom we deal.
The information we collect
Whenever it is reasonable and practicable to do so, we only collect information about you directly from you. We only collect personal information about you which is reasonably necessary to consider applications and approaches you make to us and maintain your details. We do not generally collect sensitive information about you unless required by applicable laws or rules.
How that information is used
We only use and disclose personal information about you for the purpose for which it was disclosed to us or related purposes which would reasonably be expected without your permission. For example, we may from time to time use your personal information to inform you of jobs which we expect may be of interest to you. However, we do respect your right to ask us not to do this.
We do not sell personal information to other organisations to allow them to do this. We may disclose personal information to service providers who provide services in connection with the recruitment process or we may provide information about you to a recruitment agency with your permission.
Once submitted, IRT may use your information for the following purposes:
- To assess and administer your application for employment in accordance with IRT's recruitment and administrative practices (including conducting reference checks);
- To communicate with you in relation to your application;
- To comply with any legal or regulatory obligations; and
- To monitor and review IRT's recruitment practices.
You acknowledge and agree that, in carrying out the above activities; your information can be controlled and processed by any of IRT's offices, affiliates, agents and contractors. Please do not submit your personal information if you do not want your information to be dealt with in the ways described in this notice.
If your application is unsuccessful, IRT may retain your information on file and may contact you if a suitable employment opportunity arises. Please contact IRT if you do not wish IRT to retain your information on file. If your application is successful, IRT will retain your information as part of you employment records.
You are not required by law to submit your information, but IRT may not be able to accept or process your application for employment if the information is not supplied.
Keeping information accurate and up to date
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information we hold is as accurate as is possible. You are able to contact us at any time and ask for its correction if you feel the information we have about you is inaccurate or incomplete. Where the personal information we collect is no longer required, we delete the information.
How you can access your information
You can contact us to request access to your information. In normal circumstances we will give you full access to your information however, there may be some legal or administrative reasons to deny access. If access is denied, we will provide you with the reason why.
