Residential Care Facilities

Under the Commonwealth Government's Aged Care Act 1997, all residential care facilities (nursing homes and hostels) must be accredited every three years by the independent Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency.

All of Illawarra Retirement Trust's residential care facilities achieved the maximum accreditation under the Aged Care Act. This is an endorsement of the high standards maintained and our commitment to continuous quality improvement.
