Sustainability
Sustainability isn’t just about the environment, although we can’t be sustainable without considering how our actions and decisions impact on the natural environment and its resources (e.g. clean air and water). For IRT to make sustainable decisions and to develop a sustainable culture, social, economic and governance issues need to be considered in the decision making process.
IRT is working hard to become a ‘green’ organisation in order to ensure a more sustainable future. We are dedicated to ensuring our business activities are performed in a way that recognises and reduces adverse impacts on the environment through the identification and adoption of sustainable and ecological development principles.
Below you will find links to information on how sustainability is being integrated into IRT’s business, as well as facts, tips and assistance on how you too can reduce your ‘environmental footprint’ at work and at home.
Individuals at all levels can monitor consumption and begin to feel empowered to make small changes. After all, from little things big things grow!
