Dear family member/resident representative,
Thank you for your support as we’ve managed Level 3 of your loved one’s aged care centre in accordance with our outbreak management plan.
Since writing to you last week, I’m pleased to advise that most of our residents have reached their full recovery criteria and are now free of the virus.
We are still caring for two residents with the virus on Level 3. Both residents are stable with no symptoms, and we expect them to reach their full recovery criteria tomorrow, pending a final review.
In further good news, all results from our last round of PCR tests have come back negative.
With this pleasing progress, the local public health unit has now officially closed the outbreak at our care centre and provided us with guidance to begin our transition back to regular operations, including a resumption of regular visiting arrangements from tomorrow.
Visiting arrangements
With the outbreak now officially resolved, regular visiting arrangements can resume from tomorrow, Thursday 3 November 2022, as follows:
Please do not visit your loved one if you are experiencing any symptoms or are feeling unwell, even if the symptoms are mild. Even if you have a negative COVID-19 test result you may still have influenza or another contagious virus.
Please pass this message on to others as you consider appropriate and if you have any questions please contact your Care Manager.
Thank you for your support.
Yours sincerely
Nia Briguglio
