An update on construction at IRT Dalmeny

Dear family member/resident representative,

I am writing to provide you with another update on the construction of the additional retirement village units near your loved one’s aged care centre.

Removal of most trees on the construction site for the purpose of bushfire protection is now complete. We are pleased to report there was minimal disruption to residents, visitors and their day to day activity, and I thank everyone for their understanding.

With the tree removal expected to be completed today, this Monday 3 April earth moving equipment is expected to arrive on site to commence earthworks (contouring and shaping the land for building works to commence).

As previously explained 20 new villas will be constructed during this project.

Construction hours will be Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm and Saturday, 8am – 1pm.

Every effort will be taken to minimise noise and disruption to all residents and their visitors, and we will keep you updated over the course of construction.

With the movement of heavy equipment on site please take extra care when moving about the area.
