At IRT Academy we offer a range of nationally accredited qualifications, skill sets and short courses. We also offer non-accredited short courses. Some of these are entry-level courses for people starting out in the aged care sector, while others are designed to upgrade the skills of those already working in aged care.
Our courses cover all the topics you need to work in the aged care sector. We support our students to learn everything from First Aid and CPR, basic aged care worker skills and health and leisure activities to dementia support strategies and medication assistance skills, all the way to leadership development and management.
Our qualifications are recognised nationally. From Certificate III level through to Diploma, our full qualifications are available with a blended delivery model including face to face classes, virtual learning, self-directed experiences and on the job practice and assessment.
Skill sets include accredited unit/s of competency that target a specific skill area. We offer a range of skill sets including medication assistance, entry to care roles, dementia support and palliative care. These market leading learning programs include a blend of online learning, video instruction, virtual classes, on the job practice and assessments.
Including both accredited and non-accredited offerings, our short courses are targeted to specific skills such as First Aid and diabetes support.
