Dear family member/resident representative
As the person responsible for one of our valued residents, I’m writing to let you know that IRT has changed its pharmacy provider to Priceline Pharmacy, Nowra. Our current supplier will continue to deliver up to and including Thursday, 22 July 2021 but following that all services will switch to the new provider.
Changing to Priceline Pharmacy will consolidate our pharmacy services and ensure consistent processes across our aged care centres.
If your loved one’s pharmacy bill is included in their IRT invoice, please contact Judy Payne, in Reception at the aged care centre to obtain a Permission to Charge to Account Form. Judy’s phone number is 02 4447 7100.
Once this form has been completed, the changeover will be managed by IRT.
If you receive the pharmacy bill directly, you will need to contact Priceline Pharmacy, Nowra on (02) 4423 2393 to set up an account.
There may be change to delivery times however the cost of medication and the billing process will not change. The only change residents may experience is a difference in the appearance of medication as the brand may change.
Our residents’ General Practitioners have been informed of the change and we will ensure residents continue to receive their prescribed medications. We’ve also followed all confidentiality and privacy guidelines in sharing our residents’ personal information with Priceline Pharmacy.
If your loved one doesn’t use our current contracted pharmacy, this change does not apply to them. However, if they wish to take this opportunity to switch to Priceline Pharmacy, please let us know.
