Clarification regarding visiting arrangements

7 May 2021

Dear family member/resident representative

We understand there has been some confusion around yesterday’s communication about the updated visiting restrictions for aged care centres in your area.

The directions from the NSW Chief Health Officer state that:

  • Residents may have a maximum of two visitors each day
  • They may have different visitors each day.

Therefore, only 2 people can visit a resident on any given day.

More information on the Chief Health Officer’s directions for aged care centres can be found here.

We will continue to make arrangements for compassionate and end-of-life visits in consultation with the Public Health Unit.

Thank you once again for your co-operation as we respond to the changing COVID-19 restrictions.

Yours sincerely

Nia Briguglio
