Important information about IRT Culburra Beach Aged Care Centre

Dear family member/resident representative,

I am writing to let you know that although some areas of your loved one’s aged care centre were affected by heavy rainfall over night, all residents remain safe, dry, and in their rooms where they are being supported by staff with their care needs and served their meals.

Care Manager Rasmita Baral was on site from 1am when the rainfall intensified and worked tirelessly with all staff, and the local fire service and SES, to ensure the comfort and safety of residents.

The emergency services will continue monitoring the care centre and surrounding grounds and staff will also maintain their vigilance.

Visiting

While staff work to restore affected areas of the care centre it would be appreciated if only those who assist with direct care of their loved one, visit today.

If you have any concerns about your loved one please do not hesitate to contact the care centre via the Reception number. If staff are unable to take your call it will be diverted to our Customer Service Team who will make sure your message is passed on to the busy team on site.
