Dear family member/resident representative,
I am writing to provide you with an update on your loved one’s aged care centre.
I am pleased to let you know that the two residents who were COVID-19 positive have today reached the recovery criteria of 10 days since their positive swab and three days with no symptoms. They will be de-isolated today and join the rest of the care centre.
All our other residents at the care centre remain well. The results of rapid antigen tests conducted over the weekend were all negative. In line with guidance from the NSW Public Health Unit, residents will have their final day 12 PCR test today.
I am grateful to our residents for their patience and cooperation over the past two weeks; as I am also very grateful for the commitment of our staff to caring and supporting your loved one during this challenging time.
Visiting arrangements
A reminder that residents are able to have two visitors permitted, per day by appointment only.
You can find all other details of visiting arrangements here, including the need to wear a P2/N95 mask and eye protection at all times while in the care centre.
All visitors must sign-in at the main reception and complete a mandatory wellness screening, including a rapid antigen test before entering. Please do not go through alternate entry points.
Please ensure you follow the advice of staff throughout your visit due to some changes in walking through certain areas of the care centre.
Do not visit the care centre if you are unwell with even the mildest symptoms, or if you are awaiting the result of a PCR test.
If you have any questions, please speak with your Care Manager.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
Nia Briguglio
