Important information about IRT Dalmeny

Dear family member/resident representative,

The purpose of this message is to let you know about plans to construct an additional 20 independent living units at IRT Dalmeny.

We anticipate commencing construction in November 2022, on vacant land on the north-western and southern sides of the existing community.

In 1991, IRT was granted a development application to build 30 independent living units. At the time, only 10 were completed (units 114-121, 124 and 125). These works will now see the completion of the remaining 20 units.

All the units will be single-storey with two bedrooms, bathroom and a single-car garage.

The works will also include construction of associated infrastructure, such as roads, services and landscaping in accordance with the existing DA approval.

The expected build time for the entire project is 10 months, barring any unforeseen delays.

Our priority throughout the project will be to minimise noise and disruption to all residents, and we will keep you updated every step of the way on construction progress.
