Dear family member/resident representative,
Thank you for your ongoing support as we manage the risk of COVID-19 at your loved one’s aged care centre.
I am pleased to let you know that today another resident who is currently being cared for in our dedicated COVID-19 wing has reached their recovery criteria and received clearance by a GP to return to their room out of isolation.
Over the weekend, a resident in Roden Cutler tested positive to COVID-19 via a rapid antigen test. The resident is fully vaccinated and is experiencing mild symptoms. Following consultation with their family, the resident was relocated to our COVID-19 wing on Level 1.
All other residents were PCR tested yesterday and unfortunately another resident returned a positive result. We are currently in consultation with the resident and their family and they will be relocated to our COVID-19 wing later today.
As per the NSW Public Health Unit residents in Roden Cutler will remain in isolation until day 12 since exposure, which will be until at least Saturday 23 April.
Visiting arrangements
As previously outlined, we strongly encourage you to reconsider the need to visit your loved one.
If you feel you must continue with your scheduled visit please proceed with caution. If visiting a loved one please do so only in their room, wearing all necessary PPE at all times.
Please do not visit the care centre if you are unwell with even the mildest symptoms, or if you are awaiting the result of a PCR test.
