Important information about IRT Thomas Holt Kirrawee Aged Care Centre

14 July 2022

Dear family member/resident representative,

Thank you for your support as we manage your loved one’s aged care centre in accordance with our outbreak management plan.

Since writing to you on Monday, our residents in Roden Cutler House who have not yet tested positive to COVID-19 were PCR tested and pleasingly the results were all negative. With this news, the NSW Public Health Unit (PHU) has advised that Roden Cutler House residents can now leave their rooms and socialise within their building.

I am also very pleased to let you know that today three of our COVID-19 positive residents in our COVID-19 wing in the Flame Tree Building have reached their recovery criteria and will be returning to their rooms in Roden Cutler House following a review.

We are now caring for three residents in our COVID-19 wing who are continuing to recover well.

As I informed you in my previous message, Magnolia residents have been PCR tested again today. I will update you once we receive the results tomorrow.

Magnolia residents continue to be encouraged to remain in their rooms until at least Tuesday 19 July as per the NSW PHU guidance.
