IRT Woonona Aged Care Centre – contact details and meeting schedule
Last month I wrote to you following our June resident and relatives meeting to let you know that I would provide you with information about relevant contacts at the care centre, and a calendar of dates for our ongoing meetings.
Our commitment to provide you with this information was in response to valuable feedback from our residents and family members at the meeting and I am pleased to be able to provide you with the details now.
To assist you in making decisions about which members of staff to contact about specific issues or concerns, we have developed a contact list which outlines key responsibilities. This list can be found here.
I was encouraged at our June meeting to hear that residents and relatives would benefit from more meetings on a regular basis and with separate meetings for residents and relatives when possible. In response we have committed to meeting monthly and to assist you with your plans, our calendar of meetings for residents and relatives, can be found here.
You will notice that our next meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday 12 July. Please contact Reception to confirm your attendance.
I hope that you are able to attend, but if you can’t the meeting minutes will be mailed to you.
Lift access – Ribbonwood
Some of you would be aware that we have had some maintenance issues with our lifts in the Ribbonwood building. Pleasingly we have one lift operational, and work is underway to restore the second lift. I appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this and I hope to soon have both lifts in operation.
