Improvements at IRT Culburra Beach Aged Care Centre

Dear family member/resident representative,

I am writing to provide you with an update on the improvements we’re making at your loved one’s care centre.

You may recall that I wrote to you last month about the work we’re proposing to complete at IRT Culburra Beach Aged Care Centre. This includes improvements to common areas and resident care suites and upgrades to our outdoor furniture.

Following the positive feedback we received on these proposed improvements, I’m pleased to let you know that work will begin on the following next week:

• Painting – this will be carried out in the Branson and Evans Wings corridors, on common area toilet doors, and in the staff back-of-house area.
• Wayfinding – this will include the installation of improved signage to help residents, family members and visitors more easily navigate their way throughout the aged care centre.

The painting and wayfinding work will begin on Tuesday 9 May 2023 with an expected completion date of Wednesday 17 May 2023. Contractors will be on site during this period on weekdays only, from 7am to 4pm. No work will be carried out on weekends.

We are working on a schedule to complete the other improvements proposed for the care centre, including further work to common areas, resident care suites, and outdoor furniture upgrades, and will let you know when we have more details to share.

We are committed to minimising disruption to our residents and keeping you and your loved one informed during this process.
