Visitors from Greater Sydney (including Wollongong, Central Coast and Blue Mountains) now permitted

Dear family member/resident representative

The ACT Chief Health Officer has removed Greater Sydney local government areas, including Wollongong, the Blue Mountains and the Central Coast from its list of geographical areas of risk.

This means that if you have been to any of these local government areas you may now visit your loved one’s aged care centre.

All other conditions of visiting continue to apply including the requirement to complete a wellness check. These details and information about resident outings can be found here.

Greater Metropolitan Melbourne remains as a geographical area of risk and the areas of Wyndham, Yarra and the Yarra Ranges in Victoria have also been added to the list.

The ACT Health website here provides up-to-date information about these locations and other requirements in response to COVID-19. Please check the website before each visit, as the information can change regularly.

Thank you for your ongoing support and assistance.

Yours sincerely
