Dear family member/resident representative
I am pleased to advise that all residents who were experiencing respiratory symptoms have fully recovered and visiting may resume at your loved one’s aged care centre in accordance with the following arrangements.
There are currently no restrictions on the number of visitors a resident can have each day or at any one time. All visitors are requested to please wear a mask while visiting.
Visits can occur between 10am and 5pm (7 days) and different people may visit each day.
Appointments are not required for visits on weekdays but remain a necessity for all other times to allow us to manage the number of people in the aged care centre at any one time.
No visits from areas of risk
The NSW Chief Health Officer directs that you cannot visit your loved one’s aged care centre if you have been to any of the case locations, areas of concern or geographical areas of risk in any state of Australia or in New Zealand.
There are currently a number of locations, venues and public transport routes listed for the Greater Sydney and Wollongong regions. Please check the NSW Health website here before you visit, as the information about these locations can change from day to day and within any one day.
You are reminded that all visitors aged 16 years and over are required to provide evidence that they have received the 2021 influenza vaccination. The only exception is for those with a medical exemption, in which case a medical certificate is required.
All other conditions of visiting arrangements and resident outings apply, including the requirement to complete a wellness check before entering the aged care centre. These details can be found here.
Thank you for your ongoing patience and support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Care Manager.
