IRT understands that senior women living on their own can sometimes find it challenging to access the right retirement living options. That’s why we’ve created Jasmine Grove at IRT Kanahooka, a unique and welcoming example of collaborative housing. Collaborative housing is a new concept, designed to encourage participation, sharing and community building, while enabling each person to also have their own private and secure home.
Designed especially for single women over 55, Jasmine Grove offers the opportunity to live independently while sharing a supportive, connected environment with a small group of like-minded women, all within our vibrant retirement village.
Jasmine Grove features 8 private, self contained one-bedroom villas, as well as community living, cooking and gardening spaces.
This collaborative housing neighbourhood consists of 8 private, self-contained villas set around community spaces, which include additional cooking, dining and living spaces.
One bedroom villas
Each one-bedroom villa includes a full kitchen, dining area, lounge room, laundry, outdoor storage space, parking space and is pet friendly. View the villa floor plans here.
Community spaces
The community spaces include an oversized community kitchen, dining table for 8 residents, community lounge room with TV area, outdoor community BBQ area, additional outdoor storage space, plus community gardens and green spaces.
Enjoy relaxed living in a welcoming community of like-minded neighbours. Do as much or as little as you like, from happy hour catch-ups to quiet moments in the gardens, there’s always a place to feel at home.
Jasmine Grove residents will form part of the wider IRT Kanahooka community, along with Henry Brooks Estate residents. You’ll be able to enjoy the shared clubhouse, outdoor chessboard, landscaped pocket gardens and other amenities within the wider IRT Kanahooka community.
