Updated visiting arrangements for
IRT Woodlands Aged Care Centre

27 July 2021

Dear family member/resident representative

Following my message last week regarding restrictions to visiting arrangements at your loved one’s aged care centre, I am pleased to let you know that visiting can now resume with minor restrictions still in place as follows:

  • While there is still a degree of risk in the community, all visits are required to be scheduled and limited to 2 visitors per day, per resident.
  • Mandatory wellness checks and mask wearing requirements remain in place.

Please contact the care centre Mon-Fri in business hours to schedule your visit and reach out to your Care Manager if you have any questions.

We ask that you please check the Qld Health website here before visiting to ensure you have not been in an area of increased risk. For more details of visiting arrangements, resident outings and visiting restrictions at IRT’s aged care centres visit this link.

We will continue to monitor and follow the advice of the Queensland Chief Health Officer, and will provide a further update in due course.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Yours sincerely

Nia Briguglio
