IRT offers individuals wishing to volunteer rewarding opportunities to become part of our vibrant Communities and make a difference in the lives of seniors.

IRT's foundation has been formed on the support, commitment and dedication of volunteers from our local communities.

Our volunteers play a valuable role in supporting our residents and clients, alongside IRT's strong team of over 2,000 caring and professional staff.

The personal interaction, contribution and services our volunteers provide is invaluable no matter the activity. Activities that volunteers participate in at IRT can include:

  • arts and craft activities
  • barbeques
  • transport
  • games and sport
  • dancing
  • spiritual and cultural activities
  • assisting with morning and afternoon tea and much more
