Evaluating the impact of a systematic approach to designing environments for people with dementia

21 June 2018

There is a great deal of information available to assist aged care providers to design facilities that assist people with dementia to make the best of their remaining abilities.

This project evaluated the introduction of a systematic way of using this information in the design process. Systematic changes resulted in fewer behavioural problems, increases in quality of life in residents and less stress and greater job satisfaction in staff.

Watch this video to find out more about the changes implemented as a result of the project.
