This message is to provide details about our next Illawarra Carer Support Group meeting, being held next Friday 26 June.
The Illawarra Carer Support Group is for carers and family members of residents in our residential care homes across the region. The group is designed to provide a safe, welcoming space for carers to connect, share experiences and receive emotional and practical support.

Topic: Carer Burnout
Who is it for?: This group is open to anyone who has a loved one in an IRT residential care home in the Illawarra region. Please note this group is not intended for residents, but their loved ones who care for and support them.

Meeting schedule for 2026
Please find below the remainder of the 2026 schedule for the Illawarra Carer Support Group. Meetings will be held monthly, generally on the last Friday of each month, with morning tea from 10.30am and the formal group discussion commencing at 11.00am.
Meetings will alternate between William Beach Gardens and Marco Polo Woonona, and we look forward to welcoming you at either location throughout the year.
Whether you’ve attended a meeting before or are joining for the first time, your presence and input are both welcome and valued.
