Aging2.0 Launches Sydney Chapter

The Aging2.0 Sydney chapter is launching this week to provide a networking and collaboration hub for entrepreneurs, senior living providers, ageing experts, older adults and investors to drive innovation that transforms the experience of ageing.
A free launch event is set for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. this Thursday, 28 March at BlueChilli offices, Level 1, 125 York Street Sydney. Reserve a spot here.
The event will explore how to create a thriving Aging2.0 Sydney chapter. It will look at the important role the chapter can play in facilitating connections, collaborations, partnerships and the sharing of insights and best practices between cross-industry communities. Patrick Reid, IRT Group CEO, a leading community-owned seniors’ lifestyle and care provider, will serve as the Sydney chapter ambassador.
Mr Reid urges anyone with a passion for innovation to consider volunteering to join the Sydney chapter where they will have the opportunity to collaborate with likeminded people and make a meaningful impact in the ageing space.
“I’m honoured to be the ambassador for the new Sydney chapter of Aging2.0 and look forward to how we can all work together to move faster and change the dial for our ageing people,” said Mr Reid.
The launch event will showcase a number of start-ups making waves with creative solutions that are improving the ageing space. An insightful presentation by the head of innovAGEING, Merlin Kong, will also be given, titled: Robot Seals, Hens, and Creative Things: What Age Services Reveal about Innovation.
