IRT submits revised DA for Towradgi Retirement Village
IRT has resubmitted an updated Development Application to Wollongong City Council for the site to be known as Elements at IRT Towradgi Beach.
This follows IRT’s withdrawal of the DA for the site, in June 2024, in order to include further detailed designs addressing flood and stormwater management in the village.
IRT is pleased to submit the revised application which features a number of design enhancements.
IRT has worked with experts to make a range of improvements for the project to not only enhance the site, but also the future of seniors living in the region.
The DA is expected to go on public exhibition soon via the Council’s website. During this time the community will have another opportunity to review the updated proposal and offer feedback.
IRT is committed to upholding the legacy of its founders by developing safe and secure environments that support the dignity and wellbeing of older Australians at every stage of ageing.
