Supporting Ageing-in-Place for people with and into disability: An exploration of rural and metropolitan perspectives

21 June 2018

This project assessed what issues currently prevent the successful ageing of both people into and with disabilities.

It incorporated an examination of the current ageing and disability care sectors, including generic and specialist levels of care, with a focus upon differences and similarities evident between rural and metropolitan service options. Specific emphasis was placed on what measures enhance successful ageing-in-place for people with and into disability and prevent the premature admission into residential aged care facilities.
