In order to take advantage of this offer, an eligible IRT retirement village resident must enter into an IRT Home Care Agreement and transfer your government funded home care package to IRT before 31 December 2023.
Once the cooling-off period has expired under the IRT Home Care Agreement, eligible customers will receive the $1,000 in funds either by electronic funds transfer into their nominated account; as an offset against their IRT account; via an EFTPOS card; or by any other reasonable means as determined by IRT. If a customer terminates their home care services or their IRT Home Care Agreement during the cooling-off period, they will not be eligible for any payment.
IRT reserves the right to determine, in its absolute discretion, whether or not to accept or reject any potential home care customer for any reason. These reasons may include (among other things) an applicant’s care needs or suitability to receive IRT home care services, staff availability to provide services, existing waitlists for home care services or other commercial and financial reasons. IRT does not need to provide any reasons for rejecting any potential home care customer who expresses interest in receiving its services.
