Frequently asked questions

You can expect to apply approximately 6-8 hours per week of self-directed learning in addition to class attendance.

An online learning resource and assessment pack will be provided and pre-reading is essential before attending classes.

This course would be best suited to those who are in a supervisory or management position or wanting to move into a more senior role. Students need to display high level communication skills, be a problem solver, display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others.

No, there are no prerequisites for this course.

One day per month including virtual sessions and face to face practicals held at IRT Academy in Wollongong or other site as advised.

While there is no mandated minimum hours of work-placement, your assessments will often require access to a workplace.
