Security upgrade at IRT Crown Gardens Aged Care Centre

Dear family member/resident representative,

I am writing to you to let you know about some work which will soon begin to improve our site security.

What work is being done?

We are installing a video intercom system at the main gate of the care centre. This will enhance security and support ease of identification for staff when they are granting access to visitors.

This video intercom system will have a corresponding video intercom located in the following areas:

• Care Manager’s Office
• Nurse’s station
• Display via an app on the Registered Nurse’s phone.

Why are we doing this work?

This upgrade will increase site security and allow staff to quickly respond to callers at the main gate and provide access in a timely manner. It will also support visitor access over weekends and after hours, helping to minimise waiting times at the main gate.
