Dear family member/resident representative,
I am writing to let you know about the details of our upcoming relatives meeting this Friday and to also let you know about some staff changes at IRT Greenwell Gardens Aged Care Centre.
Staff changes
Rose Thomas who has been in the role of Care Manager, has decided to return to a Registered Nurse position at the care centre, where she will continue applying her skills and caring for our residents.
Until we complete the process to recruit for her replacement, which has commenced, Rose will remain in the role to lead the team. I will let you know when a transition date has been determined.
In another change, Business Manager for our Shoalhaven Care Centres, Peter Andrews is also pursuing a change of position, stepping into the role of Hospitality Manager at IRT Greenwell Gardens. I am grateful for his support as Business Manager, especially through the challenges of the pandemic and I am delighted that he’ll remain a familiar face at IRT Greenwell Gardens.
Debbie Andrews (no relation), who is currently Business Manager for our Sydney aged care centres, will assume responsibility for your care centre. Debbie has a wealth of experience in the aged care industry and has been with IRT for nearly 20 years.
Please offer Debbie your support as she gets to know you and your family in the coming weeks and months.
Relative meeting
A Relative Meeting will be held this Friday 28 October at 2pm in the Community Room.
Please RSVP by calling IRT Greenwell Gardens’ reception on 4429 4111.
Following the meeting, the minutes will be shared with residents and family members/resident representative.
Resident meetings will be held from the week starting 31 October.
