Dear family member/resident representative,

Thank you for your continued support as we manage your loved one’s aged care centre in accordance with our Outbreak Management Plan.

All residents in Crookhaven House were rapid antigen tested for COVID-19 this morning and have pleasingly returned a negative result. They will be tested again on Saturday as per the directions from the NSW Public Health Unit.

We continue to care for one resident who is positive at the care centre who remains well with mild symptoms.

Residents in Crookhaven House continue to be cared for in their rooms. Our Lifestyle Team are supporting them with activity packs and they have also received treat bags which contain lollies and other sweet treats for them to enjoy.

Staff are also assisting residents to connect with family members and friends via video and phone calls where required.

Visiting the care centre

A reminder that Crookhaven House remains closed to visitors. Compassionate visits will be permitted by arrangement with the Care Manager.

Visiting to the rest of the centre can continue as per the arrangements outlined for NSW Aged Care Centres here.

Please do not visit the care centre if you are feeling unwell with even the mildest symptoms, or are awaiting the result of a PCR test.
